Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates having qualified for the MBBS degree and having completed their compulsory rotating residential internship and obtained full registration before 15th May, 2013, are eligible to apply for the postgraduate diploma and degree courses
Candidates having qualified for a postgraduate diploma may also apply for the postgraduate degree (MS/MD) course in the same subject
Post diploma candidates with a diploma in the same subject will undergo 2 years training for the degree
Those who complete a DCP will not have this benefit for MD Pathology
Candidates currently undergoing training for a postgraduate diploma need to complete the same by 15th May, 2013
Those with a service obligation will need to have completed the same by 15th May, 2013

Exam Pattern :
The written test will be conducted at Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Puducherry, Thiruvananthapuram, Vellore
The written test will be of 2 types
A general paper consisting of multiple choice questions drawn from all subjects taught in the undergraduate medical course
A special paper consisting of multiple choice questions in the speciality for which the candidate has applied and subjects allied to it

How to apply:
Application forms can be accessed only online through the Christian Medical College website http://admissions.cmcvellore.ac.in
The downloaded form duly filled should be submitted by post with a basic administrative fee of Rs 750/- and registration fee of Rs 600/- per course
Candidates applying from SAARC countries should send a demand draft for Rs 1500/- or its equivalent and those from other foreign countries, US dollars 100 or its equivalent as administrative fee in addition to the registration fee per course
Money can be remitted by using any one of the following methods
As a challan at no extra cost at any branch of ICICI bank in India
A challan will be generated when filling payment details in the application form
Please mention FC-CMC-V on the challan
Send the original challan with the application form
Demand draft in favour of CMC Vellore Association a/c on any scheduled bank, payable in Vellore
Keep your demand draft ready before filling the application form
Write your name and application number on the back of the demand draft before dispatching
Online payment using payment gateway
Send in the completed form with the proof of payment and all the other required enclosures to the office of the Registrar, CMC, Vellore-632002 to reach on or before the last date

The selection of candidates for postgraduate courses will be according to the directives of the CMC Vellore Council
50% of seats in each course are reserved for sponsored candidates, provided they fulfill other criteria for eligibility for admission
However, more than 50% of the available seats may be allotted to sponsored candidate based on their ranking in the selection test
The wait list is based on ranking in the selection tests
The first sponsored candidate on the waiting list will ordinarily fill vacancies arising by sponsored candidates not accepting a seat to make up 50% reservation for sponsored candidates
In the event that more than 50% of the seats in any course are filled by sponsored candidates and one of the sponsored candidates does not accept the seat, it will be offered to the next candidate on the wait list by rank irrespective of whether he or she is sponsored or open
No admissions will usually be made after 25th May, 2013

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates having qualified for the M.B.B.S Degree from any University recognised by the Medical Council of India and have satisfactorily completed the Rotating Compulsory Internship of one year before the starting of the courses, and registered with the Indian Medical Council and thereafter preferably served in India for a period of at least TWO years in medically underserved areas, recognised as such by this Institution, are eligible to apply for the Post graduate Degree and Diploma courses.
A person can apply for any four degree courses. In specialities with both P.G. degree & diploma, a single application for the subject can be made. Allotment of degree/diploma seats will be according to the final merit list.
Special consideration will be given to alumni of St. John's Medical College who have served in medically underserved areas and underprivileged people, recognised as such by the College.
Candidates who have taken more than TWO years beyond the minimum period required, to pass the M.B.B.S. course are ordinarily not eligible to apply for a post-graduate course.

How to apply:
APPLICATION FORMS
The candidate while submitting duly filled application form has to make the following payments towards application/ entrance exam fees.
1.        A DD for Rs. 1,000/- which includes
Application form fees
Entrance test fee for one subject
2.        Entrance test fees for additional subjects: Rs.700/- per subject.
(Example:
i.                     If a candidate wishes to apply for two subjects, he/ she has to pay Rs.1000 + Rs. 700 x 1 = Rs. 1700/-
ii.                   If a candidate wishes to apply for three subjects, he/ she has to pay Rs.1000 + Rs. 700 x 2 = Rs. 2400/-
iii.                 If a candidate wishes to apply for four subjects, he/ she has to pay Rs.1000 + Rs. 700 x 3=Rs. 3100/-)
3.        The payment should be made by crossed Demand Draft (non - refundable) or its equivalent in the case of candidates applying from abroad in favour of "St. John's Medical College" payable at Bangalore. No other mode of payment is acceptable.
Candidates who collect application form and prospectus in person should submit the application form with the above mentioned documents without additional payment in case he/she applies for one subject.
·         In case he/she applies for two subjects, a DD for Rs. 700/- needs to be enclosed.
·         If he/she applies for three subjects, a DD for Rs. 1,400/-
·         For four subjects a DD for Rs. 2,100/-
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS
All particulars in the application form should be furnished carefully and in BLOCK LETTERS. Applications which are incomplete will not be considered; no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. The College will not take any responsibility for delay in the receipt or loss of application in postal transit.
THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ARE TO BE SUBMITTED

g.       Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institution where the candidate studied for M.B.B.S. Course.
h.       One copy of a recent passport size photograph affixed on the Hall Ticket duly completed. (Attestation will be done by the Registrar)
i.         Senior House Surgeoncy/Junior Residency Certificate or Service Certificate from the competent authority, whichever is applicable.
j.         Certificates showing distinctions, scholarships, honours, medals etc. (MBBS only)
k.       Post-graduate diploma or degree certificates, if any.
l.         A certificate from the head of the Institution last attended, giving details of the number of attempts at each examination and failures, if any.
m.     A certificate showing extra-curricular activities / Sports (Intercollegiate/State only).
n.       For former students of this Institution a Certificate of service in rural and underserved areas in this country from the authority concerned and approved by the Director of this Institution.
o.       Along with Application Form, the applicant should enclose 2 envelopes, with your name and address and with a
Rs. 22/- postal stamp affixed on one cover only.
Completed application forms along with the documents mentioned under 5.2(III) of the Prospectus, should be submitted either in person or by post to: the Registrar, Admissions Office, St. John's Medical College, Bangalore - 560 034, Karnataka, India.
Note: Unless all the above mentioned ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES are produced when called for Interview, no interview will be conducted. Migration and Transfer certificates to be enclosed along with the originals. All Foreign students require a "No Objection Certificate" from Secretary, Government of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Nirman Bhavan, New Delhi - 110 011 before admission to the College. Admission Procedure:
There will be an Entrance Test consisting of one common written objective type paper and Interviews. This paper will cover all the undergraduate M.B.B.S. subjects. There will also be a few questions on Values. The Test will be conducted only at Bangalore. Answers must be marked with a pencil in the booklet provided.
The examination commences at 9.00 a.m. and the duration of the paper is 3 hrs. All candidates who wish to take the written test are required to be in their assigned seats at the time, date and place stipulated. No candidate will be permitted to enter the Examination Hall and write the test later than 30 minutes after the commencement of the test.
Based on the performance in the test, candidates will be called for an interview at short notice before the Selection Committee. Candidates may have to appear for a Clinical test during the interviews.
Candidates must come prepared to pay the fees and join the Post Graduate Course immediately thereafter.
Admission to various courses will be provisional and is subject to confirmation of eligibility by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). The decision of the University with regard to eligibility is final. The selected candidate should obtain the Eligibility Certificate personally from the University and submit it along with other certificates before paying the fees.
The duration of the various courses and syllabi will be as laid down by the RGUHS from time to time. The date of commencement of the classes will be notified as per the calendar of events of the RGUHS.
Any dispute regarding the admission procedure is subject to the jurisdiction of Courts in Bangalore only.

Aligarh Muslim University is one of the most pioneers University in India offering various courses for the students. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU MD/MS) entrance exam is an admission test conducted by Aligarh Muslim University for the selection of eligible candidates for the MD and MS courses offered by the University. The duration of the course is three hours. Numerous aspirants from all parts of the country apply for the test each year. This test provides the opportunity for large number of medical students can pursue a Masters Medical degree.
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates have to fulfill certain educational qualification for getting admission for the MD/Ms courses offered by Aligarh Muslim University. The applicants should have an MBBS degree from any recognized University. They must have to complete their one year compulsory rotatory internship after their MBBS course. The applicants should be registered under Indian Medical Council or State Medical Council. The candidates fulfill all the eligibility requirements can apply for the MD/MS courses.
Exam Pattern :
The AMU MD/MS test is a written test organized by AMU for the admission into the MD courses. The entrance test is in objective type format consists of multiple type questions.. The test consists of three papers of questions. The test consists of questions from the syllabus of their MBBS course. Each question is given with four alternatives. The candidates have to pick the correct answer from the given options and mark it in the OMR sheet. There is penalty of marks for the wrong answers.

How to apply:
The University provides an opportunity for the online submission of the application form. The interested candidates have to visit the official website of Aligarh Muslim University www.amucontrollerexams.com. The candidates have to fill the online application form and submit it. The candidates have to take the print out copy of the filled application form and send it to the University. The demand draft of Rs.1000/- should be send with the application form. The applicants must have a valid email id and password for applying for the test.
The form should be filled as per the guidelines given in the information bulletin. All the details filled in the form should be correct. The candidates email id should be filled correctly. Further communication to the candidates is done through this. The photograph and signature of the candidates with the prescribed size is uploaded in the application form. The candidates should take the print out copy of the completely filled form. This print out copy and the demand draft of Rs.1000/- from any nationalized bank should be sent to the exam controller before the last date. The form should be send only in registered post or speed post.

MH PGM PGD CET (Maharashtra Post Graduate Medical Post Graduate Dental Combined Entrance Test)

Maharashtra Post Graduate Medical Post Graduate Dental Combined Entrance Test MH PGM PGD CET is conducted for providing admission to the eligible candidates into Post graduate courses of the associated institutes. A large number of candidates appear for Maharashtra PGM PGD CET Entrance Exam from all across the state of Maharashtra.

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification :
To apply for this Medical PG Entrance Exam, the aspiring candidate must have done M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. from an institute recognized by Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India.
However, the candidates who will complete their internship before 31st March of the respective year can also apply.
Other Eligibility Condition for taking MH PGM PGD CET :
Eligibility for PGM CET :
A candidate must be an Indian National.
Eligibility for In-service candidates will be as per criteria laid down by the Public Health Department for M.M. & H.S. Medical Officer candidates and E.S.I.S. candidates; and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for BMC candidates.
The candidates who are domiciled in Maharashtra and who have obtained admission under 15% quota for All India Entrance Examination (AIEE) for MBBS course and who have obtained the degree from a University situated outside the State of Maharashtra will also be eligible for PGM-CET.
The candidate who has obtained MBBS degree from a Deemed University is not eligible to appear for PGM-CET.
Eligibility for PGD CET :
A candidate must be an Indian National.
A candidate who has obtained BDS Degree before introduction of one year compulsory rotating internship training, i.e. on or before 1989, will also be eligible to appear for PGD-CET.
A Candidate who has obtained BDS degree from a Deemed University is not eligible to appear for PGD-CET.
A candidate should have obtained DCI/MSDC registration by the date of Preference Form filling process.
The candidates who were admitted to the colleges/institutions which are now affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) will be eligible till such time as they are awarded the degrees by the University established under Maharashtra Universities Act, 1994.
Candidates who are domiciled in Maharashtra and who have obtained admission under 15% quota for All India Entrance Examination (AIEE) for BDS course and who have obtained the degree from a university situated outside the State of Maharashtra will also be eligible for PGD-CET.

UPPGMEE (Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam)

Exam Details:
Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam acronym as UP PGMEE is conducted by reputed M.L.N. Medical College - Allahabad, each year for admission to (various post graduate medical courses like M.D.S. and M.D. / M.S. / PG Diploma courses in various post graduate medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh.
The candidates clearing the entrance examination are also eligible for admission to the Medical Colleges of Agra, Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Meerut and in Medical / Dental faculty of CSM Medical University, Lucknow.
There are a total of 603 seats combined in all the institutes for all the post graduate medical courses in addition to 12 seats for MDS at CSM Medical University, Lucknow.

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification
Candidate must have MBBS for admission to MD/MS/PGD courses and BDS for admission to MDS course from a recognized institute. Those who will be able to complete their internship by May End can also apply.
Candidates that have passed the MBBS/MDS Course from the Himalayan Institute of Medical Science, Dehra Dun are termed as bonafide candidate of the state and are allowed to appear for the Entrance Test. The candidates have to produce their Rotatory Internship Certificate along with the application Form.
Note : Candidates who have already taken admission on the basis of U.P.P.G.M.E.E / A.I.P.G.E.E are not allowed to appear for the entrance test unless the respective candidate completes the course.

Exam Pattern :
The examination will be conducted in English medium only.
The examination shall consist of one paper of 190 MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) as follows.
·         90 questions on pre and para-clinical subjects.
·         90 questions on clinical subjects.
·         10 questions on comprehension.
There will be three sections of multiple choice questions (MCQs) :
Section A : There will be 90 questions with 4 options or choices of which one will be best suited or best response.
Section B : There will be 90 questions with 4 options or choices of which one will be best suited or best response.
Section C : There will be two paragraphs followed by 5 questions each based on that paragraph. Each question will have 4 alternatives of which one will be best suited or best response.
Each question in Section A & B shall carry 1 mark. Each question in Section C will carry 2 marks. There will be no negative marking.
