MU OET (Manipal University Online Entrance Test)

Exam Details:

MU OET 2013 Manipal University Online Entrance Test Last Date 25 Jan 2013

As per the Hon’ble Supreme Court order dated December 13, 2012, Manipal University will be conducting all India online entrance test (MU OET 2013) for admission to the following courses:

MBBS, MD, MS and PG Medical Diploma courses offered at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal

MBBS, MD, MS and PG Medical Diploma courses offered at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore

BDS, MDS and PG Diploma courses offered at Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal

BDS, MDS and PG Diploma courses offered at Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore

Eligible candidates should apply to Manipal University and register for Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU OET 2013).

Eligibility Criteria:

Exam Pattern :

The test will be of 2 hours duration and there will be one question paper of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) of the objective type which carries 200 marks. The approximate distribution of questions is given below.                                                                                            

Medicine including Paediatrics, Genetics, Dermatology & Venereology etc. (40), Surgery including Orthopaedics, Trauma and Anaesthesiology (30), Obstetrics & Gynaecology (20), Community Medicine (20), Physiology (14), Pharmacology (14), Pathology (14), Anatomy (10), Otorhinolaryngology (10), Ophthalmology (10), Biochemistry (6), Microbiology (6), Forensic Medicine (6). 

MDS & PG Diploma in Dental Materials :

The test duration is 2 hours  .There will be one question paper of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) of the objective type which carries 200 marks.

The approximate distribution of questions is given below.  Pedodontics (16), Orthodontics (16), Periodontics (16), Oral Medicine & Radiology (16), Prosthodontics (16), Conservative Dentistry (16), Oral Surgery (16), Public Health (16), Human Anatomy (8), Human Physiology including Biochemistry (8), Dental Materials (8), Pharmacology (8), General Pathology & Microbiology (8), Oral Anatomy (8), General Medicine (8), General Surgery (8), Oral Pathology (8).

The application material can be purchased from Manipal University Admissions Office, by writing to the following address, by enclosing a request along with a Demand Draft for Rs .600 drawn in the name of Manipal University made payable at Manipal or Udupi.
