BLDEU PGET (BLDE University Post Graduate Entrance Test BLDEU PGET Medical Entrance Exam)

Exam Details:

BLDE University invites application for All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test-2013 (BLDEU-PGET-2013) from eligible candidates

MD : Radiology, General Medicine, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Anesthesiology, Comm Medicine, Pathology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy.

MS : General Surgery, Obst and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, ENT.

Diploma : DGO, D’Ortho, DLO, DCH, DA, DCP.

The application should accompany a demand draft of Rs 3,000/- drawn in favour of the Registrar, BLDE University, Bijapur, payable at Bijapur, Karnataka and shall reach the Registrar, BLDE University, Smt Bangaramma Sajjan Campus, Sholapur Road, Bijapur-586103, Karnataka.

Eligibility Criteria:

Only those candidates, who satisfy or likely to satisfy the following relevant eligibility requirements for admission to Post Graduate courses will be considered eligible to appear for the BLDEU-PGET-2013 and subsequently for admission to the course. 

Eligibility requirements to appear for BLDEU-PGET-2013 and admission to the medical Post Graduate Diploma and Degree Courses are :

1. The candidates seeking admission to these courses should have passed MBBS from the college recognized by Medical Council of India. 

2. As specified by Medical Council of India, the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test for eligibility for admission to Post Graduate courses shall be: 

a) General category 50 percent 

b) SC/ ST& OBC (OBC as declared by Government of Karnataka from time to time) Category 40 percent 

c) Candidates with 40 to 70% locomotor disability of lower limbs (as certified by competent issuing authority) category 45 percent. 

3. The candidate should have completed the compulsory rotating internship / would be completing by 30th April 2013. 

4. Foreign / PIO / NRI students are exempted from BLDEU-PGET-2013. Their admission will be based on qualifying examination marks.

Exam Pattern :

There will be only one test which will have 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQ). The time allotted for the test shall be 180 minutes.

The test will begin at 10:00am and end at 1:00pm 

Candidates are required to mark their answers in an OMR (Optical Mark Reader) Answer Sheet. 

Each correct answer is awarded with one mark.

There will be no negative marking. No mark/s will be awarded for multiple marking (marking multiple responses) for any question.

Relevant information and data entry is to be made in the online application format by the candidate before generating the application form. Hard copy of the generated application form along with relevant enclosures, should be sent to the University.

Demand Draft for Rs 3000/- drawn in favour of The Registrar, BLDE University, Bijapur payable at Bijapur-586103, Karnataka State. (Write your full name and application number on the back of DD). Check for the banker's signature on the DD.
